Only Australians aged 16+ may enter this promotion. Entrants aged 16 to 17 years old (inclusive) must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Employees (and their immediate families) of Ampol (the promoter) and agencies associated with the promotion may not enter this promotion.
To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any 1L, 4L, or 5L Mobil lubricant from a Participating Ampol site during the Promotional Period and obtain an itemised purchase receipt (“Qualifying Transaction”).
Yes! If the image that you uploaded was blurry or not able to be verified, we will need to be able to get in touch with you to verify your receipt. If an itemised purchase receipt is not provided to an individual by a member of staff, it is the individual’s responsibility to request one.
Scan the QR code on signage at the location of your purchase or head to https://www.ampol.com.au/your-vehicle/engine-oils/promo and follow the prompts to the promotion entry page.
You will need to input the requested details including, but not limited to, first name, last name, email, post code, phone number, the model of the car you drive and submit the fully completed entry form during the Promotional Period.
You will be notified instantly on screen at the time of entering the promotion if a prize has been won or not. This is subject to verification of your entry and receipt. If you have won, you will be sent an email confirming your prize. Please make sure to check your junk/spam folder if you have not received your email notification. Junk/spam folders may not always be visible on mobile devices.

There is a limit of one entry per person per day.
If we’re unable to successfully validate your entry, we’ll notify you via email. You will receive this email within 5 business days of your entry submission. Please reply to the email with an image of your receipt ensuring all required information is clear, legible and meets the eligibility criteria. If we do not hear from you by 01/01/2026 your prize will be forfeited and redrawn on 12/01/2026.
There are two types of prizes available to be won.
- Instant Win Prize: Instant win prize is a $50 AmpolCash Digital Card.
- Major Prize: The first valid entry drawn from this promotion will receive $10,000 in AmpolCash Digital.
A limit of 5 Instant Win prizes per person during the promotion (excluding SA).
It may be that the file size of your image may be too high (over 3MB). The easiest way to reduce the file size of your image is to take a screenshot of the receipt image. On iPhones, typically the 'Live' setting is also turned on, which can also increase file size. Turning that setting off will allow you to just take a normal photo.
A draw for any unclaimed prizes (including any instant win prizes that are won but remain unclaimed) will take place on 12/01/2026 at 11:00am AEDT, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners of the unclaimed prize draw, if any, will be notified by email and by phone within seven (7) days of the unclaimed prize draw, and their details will be published (first initial, surname and postcode) online at https://www.ampol.com.au/your-vehicle/engine-oils/promo on 14/01/2026.
Unfortunately, we are not able to exchange prizes, or allow you to claim them as cash. We hope you still enjoy what you've won.
If you are a winner of an Instant Win Prize, you will receive your prize via email. In most instances, you will receive this email within 15 minutes of your on-screen instant win notification.
If you are a winner of a Major prize draw, you will be contacted within 7 business days of having been drawn to verify your entry and discuss how your prize will be awarded.
Upon successfully submitting their completed entry form, entrants will receive an on-screen notification informing them whether or not they have won an instant prize, in accordance with the quantities outlined above. If successfully validated, entrants will automatically receive their AmpolCash digital via email to activate. All entries will be entered into the relevant Major prize draw as outlined above. Prize winners will be notified within 3 business days via email.

Simply present your QR code on your smartphone in store at the counter. If a scanner is not available, click the information button on your AmpolCash digital pass and present the number and the expiry date to the Customer Service attendant. Please note that AmpolCash digital cannot be used at Outdoor Payment terminals. Please visit https://www.ampol.com.au/business/products-and-services/fuel-cards/ampolcash for further details.
When you use your AmpolCash digital, the remaining balance will be displayed on your store receipt. The remaining balance on your AmpolCash digital will be automatically updated within 24 hours of your last transaction. Any unused balance on your AmpolCash digital will be forfeited upon expiry. AmpolCash digital is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on entrants providing the PI requested and consent to the use of the PI as specified in these Terms and Conditions.
